Commander of Gaza’s internal security forces Tawfiq Abu Naim on Saturday said that the Public Prosecution had ordered the closure of Wataniya Mobile company’s office in Gaza.
Abu Naim explained that the telecommunication company refused to cooperate with the Prosecution in some security inquiries recently including investigations into the assassination attempt targeting the Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah’s convoy in Gaza.
In statements published by Palestine newspaper Abu Naim denied news that Gaza’s Ministry of Interior is detaining managers from Jawwal Cellular Communications Company.
Abu Naim affirmed that the Ministry had summoned Jawwal’s managers to obtain information related to the murder of a delivery worker but they refused to assist in the investigations so they were detained for a while and released later.
