The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday morning arrested the Palestinian young man Abdul Karim Asi who allegedly carried out an anti-occupation stabbing attack near Ariel illegal settlement in the northern West Bank.
Asi has been chased down by the Israeli occupation army for 42 days running after he was held accountable for the stabbing attack which left the fanatic Israeli rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal dead at a junction near Ariel on February 6.
Ever since the attack Assi had successfully evaded a massive manhunt designed to apprehend him.
Hebrew-speaking sources said the Israeli military also arrested a number of Palestinians who have allegedly helped Asi hiding from the army’s view.
A manhunt launched by the Israeli occupation forces at the crack of dawn throughout the West Bank culminated in the abduction of eight Palestinians and the misappropriation of cash allegedly allotted to funding projected anti-occupation operations in Beit Sahour.
