Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) returned on Wednesday to Gaza Strip the body of a fisherman who was shot and killed by the Israeli navy about three weeks ago.
The body of the fisherman Ismail Abu Riyalah was transferred to his family through the Erez crossing amid the presence of dozens of people.
Israeli authorities have earlier declared intention to hand over the body on Wednesday morning however; they later postponed the return of Abu Riyalah’s body to the evening for unrevealed reasons.
The victim Ismail Abu Riyalah was killed on 25 February 2018 after the Israeli naval soldiers opened fire at him while fishing in Gaza Sea. Two other fishermen were arrested during the attack.
