The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) on Monday called for an immediate end to the Israeli violations against Gazan fishermen.
The PCHR called in a statement for releasing all fishermen detained by the Israeli occupation authorities.
It also appealed to the international community including the High Contracting Parties to the 1949 Fourth Geneva Convention to intervene to stop all Israeli crimes against Palestinian fishermen and allow them to fish freely in the Gaza Sea.
According to the PCHR investigations on Monday morning the Israeli gunboats stationed off Rafah shore in the southern Gaza Strip chased and opened fire at three Palestinian fishing boats sailing within six nautical miles.
During the attack 11 fishermen including a child were arrested while the boats were confiscated.
