Israeli bulldozers escorted by a large police force demolished al-Araqeeb village in the Negev on Wednesday for the 125th time.
Israeli bulldozers stormed al-Araqeeb in the early morning hours while the police forces closed all entrances to the village in preparation for the demolition operation.
The Israeli authorities aim through the repeated demolition campaigns to force the village’s residents to leave their lands.
Al-Araqeeb is one of 45 Arab villages in the Negev unrecognized by the Israeli government and constantly targeted with demolition and displacement in favor of settlement expansion projects.
