A general strike prevailed on Tuesday across Gaza Strip in protest at the decade-long Israeli siege on Gaza resulting in a severe humanitarian crisis.
The commercial traffic has stopped in the besieged coastal enclave after 12 p.m. as all of the shops and trade companies were shut down.
Palestinian factions held a press conference in Gaza and called for taking an urgent action in order to save Gaza. The factions also demanded that Egypt open Rafah border crossing in both directions.
