IOF arrests 16 Palestinians in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday apprehended 16 Palestinians in an arrest campaign in different locations in the West Bank.

The IOF said in a statement that 16 “wanted” Palestinians were arrested for the charge of practicing popular resistance actions against Israeli targets.

IOF soldiers claimed that they found local weapons a gun and ammunition in addition to other military tools during the incursions.

The arrests were carried out in Nablus Jenin al-Khalil Ramallah and Tulkarem cities. During the campaign IOF soldiers stormed homes of Palestinians and wreaked havoc inside causing great damage to their contents.

Clashes erupted between IOF troops and Palestinian youths in Nablus city after IOF soldiers raided the city and broke into some Palestinian homes.

AL-KHALIL (PIC)– The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Wednesday 16 Palestinians after raiding and violently searching their homes across occupied Jerusalem and West Bank.

Israeli media sources claimed that 16 “wanted” Palestinians were detained in the West Bank for being allegedly involved in attacks against Israeli soldiers and settlers.

The sources said that two were detained in Nablus and Ramallah while four others were arrested in Qalandia refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile IOF rounded up five youths near Bethlehem and four others in Bani Naim town in al-Khalil.

Earlier Tuesday 36 Palestinians most of them affiliated with Hamas Movement were arrested in the West Bank.

Since October 1 Israeli forces have intensified their arrest campaigns in occupied Jerusalem and West Bank in an attempt to abort the Jerusalem Intifada.
