The Israeli occupation army on Thursday evening claimed that two projected anti-occupation stabbing attacks were thwarted in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil.
According to Israel’s Channel 7 a Palestinian carrying a knife planned to stab Israeli soldiers deployed near the Fawar refugee camp in al-Khalil before he was nabbed and arrested. No injuries were reported in the alleged stabbing attempt.
In a separate incident Israeli military sources said another Palestinian attempted to knife Israeli settlers near al-Khalil’s northern town of Halhul. Israeli soldiers immediately opened fire in the air to terrorize the alleged anti-occupation attacker.
The same sources added that the Palestinian stabber fled the scene right away.
