Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Thursday morning raided a school in the Old City of al-Khalil and attacked a group of students along with their teachers.
The PIC reporter said the IOF claimed that the school’s students threw stones towards the soldiers.
IOF troops fired tear gas canisters at the school resulting in breathing problems among a number of the students. They were treated in the field.
In a similar context earlier on Thursday IOF soldiers detained 16 female teachers of Qurtubah School at al-Shallala Street in al-Khalil for an hour and a half. This hindered the educational process and led to the cancellation of the first class in 11 classrooms.
