Palestinian health minister Jawad Awwad has decided to reinstate 550 previous civil servants who left their jobs in the health sector following the 2007 events in Gaza.
The health ministry released a statement in this regard on Tuesday without providing further details.
Earlier education minister Sabri Saidam announced that his ministry had finished taking all the necessary procedures for the return of over 1200 retreated employees to their workplaces.
A similar measure was also taken by deputy minister of religious affairs Hasan al-Saifi who approved the return of 50 employees to their previous positions.
