The Ezzedine al-Qassam Resistance Brigades the armed wing of Hamas Movement mourned on Sunday the death of a Palestinian militant.
“Resistance fighter Ahmed Aweida aged 70 and from Rafah city south of Gaza Strip succumbed to a deadly diseases that infected his body” a statement by al-Qassam read.
The resistance brigades hailed Aweida’s sense of self-abnegation saying he has sacrificed his life and body to liberate his occupied land and colonized people.
“The blood of our martyrs will forever remain the sun enlightening our path toward national liberation” added al-Qassam Brigades.
