Israeli settlers at predawn Friday spray-painted anti-Palestinian graffiti on walls and torched a Palestinian-owned vehicle after raiding Jerusalem’s neighborhood of Beit Safafa.
Settlers reportedly spray-painted “death to Arabs” and racist price tag graffiti before setting a vehicle on fire.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. Israeli vandals are rarely prosecuted by the occupation authorities.
Settlers’ violence includes property and mosque arson-attacks stone-throwing uprooting of crops and olive trees and assaults on civilian homes among others.
