The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday erected a checkpoint in Wadi Sa’ir to the northeast of al-Khalil and launched a search campaign against Palestinian vehicles.
The PIC reporter said that a force of border guards set up a checkpoint in Wadi Sa’ir on a road leading to Bethlehem villages.
He added that vehicles were stopped and searched and citizens’ IDs were scrutinized by the IOF soldiers who also detained a truck driver named Sa’di Jaradat for an hour before releasing him later on.
