The Preacher of al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Mohammad Salim on Friday condemned Israeli police banning of the Islamic Endowment Department from renovating al-Aqsa Mosque.
In his Friday sermon Salim also denounced selling Palestinian lands to the Israelis. He called for supporting al-Aqsa Mosque and frequenting the holy site.
Some 20000 Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque amid tightened security measures at the gates of the holy shrine and checking the IDs of worshipers especially the youth.
