The syndicate of Palestinian journalists on Thursday called on local Arab and international press organizations who work inside Palestine to boycott the U.S. Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Israel and Occupied Jerusalem.
In a press statement the syndicate reiterated its commitment to the position of the Palestinian popular and national consensus which stipulates for a complete boycott of the US administration officials consulates embassies as well as all of other US institutions.
The statement urged all Palestinians to boycott any official or secret meeting with any American party.
The journalists union also attributed this decision to the US administration’s positions against the Palestinian people in general and Occupied Jerusalem in particular.
