Israeli police on Tuesday banned Palestinians from renovating al-Aqsa Mosque including all of its facilities and threatened to arrest those who disobey.
The public relations official of the Islamic Endowment Department Feras al-Debes said in a press statement that an Israeli police officer broke into al-Aqsa Renovation Office and informed Deputy Head of Renovation Projects Taha Uwaida about halting works in the holy site; otherwise the workers will be immediately arrested.
