A round of fierce clashes flared up afternoon Thursday between Israeli occupation forces and Palestinian anti-occuaption youth in the southern West Bank provinces of al-Khalil and Bethlehem.
Reporting from the West Bank a PIC news correspondent said a flock of Israeli army jeeps rolled into al-Khalil’s eastern town of Sa’ir shortly before heavily-armed soldiers showered residential neighborhoods with rubber bullets and teargas grenades.
Palestinian protesters responded to the attack by hurling stones toward the occupation patrols.
At the same time clashes burst out in Tekou’ town south of Bethlehem province where Israel’s military forces attacked the Palestinians with randomly-discharged spates of teargas canisters.
