General secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative Mustafa Barghouti on Monday slammed the Israeli occupation’s decision to prevent members of 20 organizations which support the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) from entering the occupied Palestinian territories.
Barghouti said in a press statement that this decision confirms Israel’s fascist nature and shameful disregard for international laws.
Barghouti added that this ban will not serve Israel’s plans. On the contrary it will lead to increasing BDS activities around the world against the apartheid regime imposed on the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian official called for expanding the scope of boycott campaigns and escalating popular resistance against the Israeli occupation.
