The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday abducted 8 Palestinian citizens during home raids in different areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Local sources said that the IOF stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus and arrested three Palestinian citizens after searching their homes.
In Jerusalem the IOF arrested three Palestinian youths in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan town and assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens who protested the raid and tried to prevent the arbitrary arrest.
In the nearby village of Beit Duqqu the IOF broke into the house of Sami Rayyan 25 arrested him and searched the place.
Violent clashes broke out between the village’s residents and the IOF soldiers who heavily fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades.
A similar raid was reported in Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil. The IOF stormed the house of the Palestinian citizen Ahmad Abu Mariya wreaked havoc on it stole a sum of money and seized Abu Mariya’s car.
Meanwhile the IOF arrested the Palestinian ex-detainee Maher Burqan a resident of al-Khalil at al-Karama crossing while he was heading to Saudi Arabia for minor pilgrimage (Umrah).
