Dozens of Palestinian citizens and foreign activists on Friday choked on tear gas when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled peaceful protests against the settlement in Kafr Qaddum village in Qalqilya.
Local sources said that the IOF heavily fired live ammunition rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at the protesters.
Hundreds of Palestinian citizens and foreign activists marched in the weekly demonstration in Kafr Qaddum to protest Israel’s expanding settlement activity in the West Bank and call for opening the village’s main road that has been closed for 16 years.
