A Palestinian youth was critically injured on Friday when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian citizens in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Nour al-Sulaibi 22 was seriously wounded after being shot in the chest by an IOF soldier.
The Ministry said that al-Sulaibi has been admitted to a local hospital in al-Khalil and doctors there described his condition as “very serious”.
Al-Sulaibi was injured during the IOF quelling of weekly protests in Beit Ummar against the Israeli occupation’s settlement policies.
