The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Tuesday strongly denounced Israel’s decision to build a new settlement in the heart of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
In a statement OIC said that “such Israeli escalation constitutes a flagrant violation of the international law the Geneva Conventions and relevant UN resolutions.”
OIC urged the international community and the UN Security Council to take decisive measures against Israel’s settlement activities that would undermine the efforts to achieve the two-state solution.
