The Palestinian Prisoner Society said on Friday that cancer-stricken prisoner Sami Abu Diyak was transferred to an Israeli civilian hospital in critical condition.
37-year-old Abu Diyak who has been suffering from intestinal cancer for three years underwent surgery to remove parts of his intestines in 2015 but due to misdiagnosis and a medical error he had serious health complications that developed later into cancer.
Abu Diyak has been in jail since 2012 serving three life sentences and 30 years and he is one of 14 sick prisoners in the Ramla prison infirmary.
