Abdul-Malik al-Houthi leader of the Ansarullah and Houthi Movement in Yemen on Monday vowed to deal painful strikes to the Israeli occupation state if it dared to commit any foolish act against his country.
Al-Houthi made his remarks in response to Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim two weeks ago that Iran deployed precision-guided missiles in Yemen in order to attack Israel.
Netanyahu’s claim was seen by the Houthi leadership as a pretext to justify future attacks on northern areas in Yemen.
The Houthi leader affirmed that his Movement’s position against Israel is a principled stance and a religious commitment adding that the Yemeni people would not hesitate to declare a war on the Israeli enemy and strike its sensitive sites if they were attacked.
He said that the Yemeni people would never backtrack on their supportive positions towards the Muslim nation’s issues especially the Palestinian cause.
