Following its dawn airstrike that killed a senior Islamic Jihad commander and his wife Israeli warplanes bombed different buildings and sites in the Gaza Strip.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that an Israeli airstrike targeted the headquarters of the internal security apparatus in northern Gaza.
An Israeli warplane also bombed the headquarters of the Independent Commission for Human Rights in Gaza injuring one employee and causing material damage.
Several resistance posts and observation points as well as a civilian apartment building were also targeted by Israeli aerial attacks.
