The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday bulldozed a paved road in Sa’ir town east of al-Khalil at the pretext that it is located near Road 60 which connects Jerusalem and al-Khalil with each other.
According to local sources an Israeli bulldozer escorted by troops razed a main road connecting Sa’ir town with some of its neighborhoods in the areas of Wad al-Sharq and Jabal Qatiya.
The road was an important project to ease the traffic problem in the town and serve farmers.
Sa’ir mayor Ziyad al-Arramin said the one-kilometer road was funded by the Netherlands Representative Office.
