Three Palestinian farmers were wounded on Saturday and Sunday in settler attacks during olive harvest in Ramallah and Bethlehem.
Local sources said that two Palestinian farmers identified as Mus’ab Da’mas and Tareq Da’mas suffered moderate injuries on Saturday evening after being assaulted by Israeli settlers while they were picking olives in Ras Karkar village west of Ramallah.
On Sunday a Palestinian farmer in his seventies was injured after being violently beaten up by Israeli settlers in Bethlehem.
Activist Hasan Breijiya said that a group of Israeli settlers physically attacked the Palestinian farmer Fadel Hamdan when he confronted them while they were stealing olives in Palestinian lands in al-Jab’a village.
Hamdan was transferred to a local hospital for treatment and his condition was described as “stable”.
