Abdul-Majed al-Khudari said that the detention of his brother Mohamed a senior Hamas official and his nephew Dr. Hani by the Saudi authorities was a shocking incident for the entire family.
In press remarks Abdul-Majed added that no one was expecting that his brother and his nephew would be arrested and jailed affirming that they were no indictments filed against them.
He pointed out that there are also Palestinian women in Saudi jails with no reason.
He also said that his family talked to a lawyer in order to work on having his brother and nephew released expressing fears that their release would not be an easy matter.
The brother described the arrest campaign in Saudi Arabia against the Palestinians as ‘unjustified” and “seemingly part of attempts to pressure the Palestinian parties to accept the deal of the century.”
