At least eight Palestinian citizens suffered injuries during clashes on Sunday night with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Azzun town east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
According to local sources the events started after the IOF closed the main entrance to Azzun town and its western entrance (Izbat at-Tabib-Azzun road) and intensified its presence in nearby agricultural fields.
The IOF has stepped its repressive measures against local residents in the area since the stabbing incident near Azzun town on Saturday.
