The Israeli authorities on Monday displaced the family of Joulani after forcing it to demolish its own house in Ara village in Haifa district.
The family which is composed of parents and their four kids had to knock down their own home in order to avoid paying exorbitant fines incurred if Israeli crews carried out the demolition.
An Israeli court recently rejected the appeal filed by the Joulani family against an administrative demolition order on their house and refused to freeze the demolition.
The impoverished family was forced to build this house on their own land without a permit because they needed a place to house their family of six. In March 2019 the house was built with the consent of the neighbors and the family moved in.
