A number of Palestinian citizens were injured and arrested on Saturday evening during clashes in Tarabin village in the Negev after Israeli forces stormed the area.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces violently searched several homes in the village and arrested 10 residents including minors.
The sources reported that scores of Palestinian citizens were wounded after being beaten by the Israeli forces during the attack.
About 240000 Palestinians live in the Negev desert in villages and communities that were established hundreds of years ago. Israel does not recognize these communities and refuses to provide them with basic services in an attempt to push the residents to leave the area and make way for settlement construction.
