The Israeli police on Sunday morning detained dozens of West Bank workmen during a widespread campaign in the 1948 occupied lands at the pretext they had no work permits.
According to the general federation of Palestinian trade unions the police intensified their presence on all roads used by Palestinian workers in different Israeli areas.
At least 30 workers from the West Bank were reportedly rounded up by police forces after forcing them to leave the buses they were aboard at a checkpoint near Kiryat Gat city (settlement). The arrest campaign is still ongoing.
