The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian young man after shooting him and his wife in Zeita town north of Tulkarem City.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces opened fire at Yahya Abu Khater 25 and his wife near the gate of the separation wall west of Zeita town injuring both of them.
The Israeli forces detained the husband despite his injury while the wife was transferred to the hospital for treatment the same sources reported.
They affirmed that the Israeli forces opened fire at Yahya and his wife for no apparent reason and no tension or clashes were witnessed in the area before the attack.
