At the dialysis department of al-Najah University Hospital Salsabil received the news that she passed Tawjihi exams with great success. Amidst tears of indescribable joy and other mixed feelings Salsabil’s proud father placed a kiss on her forehead.
On her illness Salsabil said “Determination makes the impossible possible and breaks restrictions.”
Salsabil Arbasi a resident of Qiri village in Salfit suffers from kidney failure that forced her to take all her Tawjihi (final year of high school) exams at her hospital bed.
Salsabil who has defied her disease for years with a smile on her face said that she aspires to study languages at university to be able to serve her people one day.
Hamza Salsabil’s brother said that his sister who got 78% as an overall average at Tawjihi has strong determination and her dreams know no limits.
Salsabil’s family and the medical team at al-Najah University Hospital’s dialysis department were witnesses to Salsabil’s hard work and dedication during the year.
Salsabil affirmed that her illness will not prevent her from studying languages and continuing her academic path with high spirit and steely determination to overcome all obstacles.
