The Israel Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal filed against the demolition of 16 Palestinian buildings in Wadi al-Hummus area of Sur Baher neighborhood southeast of Occupied Jerusalem.
Hamada Hamada head of Wadi al-Hummus Committee on Sunday said that the Israel Supreme Court has rejected an appeal filed by the neighborhood’s residents against the demolition of 16 buildings composed of 100 apartments.
Hamada said that the residents were given a time limit until 18th July to demolish their own homes. Otherwise the municipality would carry out the demolition and force them to pay the demolition costs.
