Israeli settlers at dawn Monday spray-painted racist slogans and punctured the tires of Palestinian-owned vehicles in Sinjil village north of Ramallah.
Sinjil’s mayor Mutaz Tawafsheh said that scores of Israeli settlers stormed the village punctured the tires of 10 vehicles and sprayed racist graffiti on the walls.
Sinjil village is constantly attacked by the Israeli settlers and five years ago they attempted to burn a Palestinian home with Molotov cocktails but the families rushed to the place and managed to put the fire out.
Despite the presence of Israeli surveillance cameras in all West Bank and Jerusalem areas Israeli settlers’ attacks on the Palestinians especially those carried out by Price Tag gangs are rarely questioned by the Israeli authorities.
