Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has congratulated the Palestinian people at home and abroad and the Arab and Muslim nations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr holiday.
In a press release on Tuesday Haneyya hoped this occasion might would bring peace happiness and prosperity to the Arab and Islamic worlds.
He called on the Palestinian people from all spectra to work on protecting Jerusalem and the Islamic and Christian holy sites and defending the Aqsa Mosque against Israel schemes and the US deal of the century.
The Hamas leader also expressed hope that Palestinian people would soon achieve their aspirations for freedom return independence and the establishment of their future state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Hamas asked Almighty Allah to bestow His mercy upon all Palestinian martyrs and help the wounded restore their health stressing that the resistance would spare no effort to extract the freedom of all prisoners.
