A horde of Jewish settlers on Monday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under police protection.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Authority more than 30 police and intelligence officers stormed the Aqsa Mosque and provided protection for a group of settlers as they were touring its courtyards.

Gilad Erdan Israel’s public security minister and police leaders had promised Jewish temple groups to allow them to defile the Mosque during the last days of Ramadan.

Scores of Jewish settlers on Thursday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque under police protection.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Authority about 54 settlers were allowed by the Israeli police to enter the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and tour its courtyards.

Meanwhile the Israeli police imposed entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Islamic holy site’s entrances and gates.

Although such provocative break-ins at the Mosque are rejected by the Islamic Awqaf Authority the Israeli police persist in allowing the settlers to defile the Mosque.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– The Israeli police on Sunday morning allowed a horde of Jewish settlers to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under security protection.

According to eyewitnesses some settlers tried to perform Talmudic rituals at the Mosque which raised the ire of Muslim worshipers there and prompted them to protest by chanting religious slogans loudly to stop them from doing so.

Meanwhile a group of Palestinian women continued to rally at the Aqsa Mosque’s gates as a result of the Israeli ban imposed on their entry to the Islamic holy shrine.
