Head of Hamas’s foreign media affairs Ra’fat Murra has welcomed the call made recently by Hezbollah secretary-general Hasan Nasrallah for Lebanese-Palestinian dialog to confront the US deal of the century and defend the Palestinian right of return.
“Nasrallah’s invitation came at the right time and the Lebanese-Palestinian dialog would the best and most effective way to confront the deal of the century and its by-products especially the attempts to impose the idea of alternative homelands and end the right of return” Murra stated in a press release on Sunday.
The Hamas official also stressed the need to discuss the rights of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon during this dialog.
On Saturday Nasrallah warned in televised remarks that the Bahrain economic conference in June would open the door to the resettlement of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and other countries.
“The danger is approaching and I call for a meeting between Lebanese and Palestinian officials to develop a plan to address the coming threat of resettlement” he said.
He called for necessarily confronting the deal of the century that aims to eliminate the Palestinian cause.
