The Israeli police on Wednesday evening arrested a Palestinian girl at az-Za’ayyem checkpoint east of Occupied Jerusalem over an alleged stabbing attempt.
The Israeli police issued a statement claiming that the girl was carrying a knife.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Israeli police officers firing shots in the air and forcing the girl to stop. Moments later she was beaten up violently and arrested.
In a video circulated through several social media platforms the girl appeared while being assaulted and arrested by Israeli police officers without posing any threat to them.
