A horde of Israeli settlers on Sunday attacked a group of Palestinian shepherds near Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the Israeli settlers threatened the Palestinian shepherds not to approach the nearby al-Suwayda area where they are planning to establish an illegal settler outpost.
The settlers forced the Palestinian shepherds to leave the slopes of Khirbet Ebziq which were labeled by the Israeli occupation authorities as a nature reserve where grazing sheep is prohibited.
However human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh said that Israel has seized 40000 dunums of land from Khirbet Ebziq in favor of its settlement plans and military training.
