The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday arrested six Palestinian citizens during raid and search campaigns launched in different West Bank areas.
The Israeli occupation army said in a statement that six “wanted” Palestinians were arrested in the West Bank for being involved in popular resistance activities.
According to the statement the IOF in al-Khalil and Tulkarem seized a large sum of money that is allegedly used to fund resistance operations.
Quds Press said that the IOF arrested three Palestinians including a child in Bethlehem and al-Khalil while other raids and arrests were reported in Tulkarem and Jenin.
Israel’s overnight raids are witnessed on a daily basis in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
Based on recent Palestinian statistics there are 6500 Palestinian prisoners languishing in Israeli jails including 63 women 350 children and 11 members of the Palestinian Legislative Council.
