A group of Israeli settlers on Wednesday morning attacked Palestinian property in Battir town west of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Battir mayor Tayseer Qattoush said that the town’s residents found racist slogans spray painted in Hebrew on the walls of mosques and cars.

Qattoush told Quds Press that the settlers who appeared to be members of the Price Tag gang punctured the tires of a number of Palestinian cars and spray painted slogans insulting Arabs and Palestinians and threatening them.

The Price Tag gang is an extremist right wing movement that officially appeared in July 2008 and started to carry out attacks against the Palestinians including attacking their villages and places of worships burning their homes and vandalizing their property.

The attacks usually include racist graffiti inciting against Arabs and Palestinians. The perpetrators are never chased by the Israeli occupation forces.
