The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced US special envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt for his recent remarks against deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri describing them as “of no value” and “part of the open US support for Israel.”
In Twitter remarks Greenblatt incited against Aruri and labeled him as “wanted for committing abhorrent crimes.”
He blatantly called for helping “make the world safer by providing information confidentially about him and his location.”
Hamas also scoffed at such remarks and hailed Aruri as “a popular Palestinian national figure” and “one of Hamas’s political decision-makers.”
“Aruri is a pillar of the resistance who was not intimidated by the occupation’s jails and will not be intimidated by Greenblatt’s remarks” Hamas said.
