One Palestinian suffered serious injuries at dawn Wednesday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked citizens in Halhul city north of al-Khalil.
According to local sources a large number of Israeli troops stormed Halhul city to provide protection for scores of Jewish settlers who desecrated the Prophet Younis Mosque.
The sources said the unwelcome presence of settles and soldiers in the city provoked clashes with local youths adding that the IOF intensively fired rubber bullets and tear gas grenades at the angry young men seriously injuring one of them.
Many others also suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes the sources added.
