IOF kidnaps 16 Palestinians in W. Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday kidnapped 16 Palestinian citizens from their homes during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

The Israeli army admitted in a statement that its forces arrested 16 Palestinians overnight in the West Bank describing them as “wanted” for their involvement in different activities against Israel and its citizens.

According to local sources in Ramallah the IOF kidnapped two young men from Qaddura refugee camp three others from Silwad town and one from Aboud village.

The sources added that the IOF stormed Ein Misbah neighborhood in Ramallah city and stole money from a house.

The IOF also stormed a house belonging to the family of martyr Samah Mubarak in Qaddura refugee camp as well as the house of prisoner Yahiya Rabie the head of the Birzeit University’s student council in al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya town.

The IOF also kidnapped three young men from Jenin city and two others from Jenin refugee camp.

Two ex-detainees identified as Miqdad al-Qawasmi and Munder Ashour were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in the cities of al-Khalil and Tulkarem.

Meanwhile Israeli soldiers reportedly stormed a bakery in al-Arroub refugee camp and physically assaulted two brothers identified as Ibrahim and Nour Muqbel causing them to suffer injuries.
