Violent clashes broke out on Saturday night with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Ya’bad town south of Jenin in the West Bank.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops stormed the town and deployed themselves in al-Bayyara area where local youths hurled them with stones.
The sources added that the soldiers responded by intensively and indiscriminately firing tear gas grenades at the young men and nearby homes.
Many young men in the streets and citizens inside homes suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes according to the sources.
Later the IOF also declared the town a closed military zone.
