The Hamas Movement has called for pooling the efforts to confront the Israeli occupation and its settlers through re-forming committees to guard West Bank villages and towns.
“The cowardly attack by settlers on al-Mughayyir village in Ramallah where they fired live bullets at unarmed civilians under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces is a crime connected with the existence of the brutal occupation on our land” Hamas said in a press release on Saturday.
“Such a crime vindicates the gravity of the encroaching settlement outposts in the West Bank because they harbor murderers criminals extremists and racists who allow themselves to commit violations against our people and persist in attacking their property and lands” it added.
The Movement applauded the residents of al-Mughayyir village for standing in the face of armed settlers with their bare chests saying that their bravery reflected the Palestinian people’s adherence to the resistance option.
