Several Palestinian citizens suffered bullet injuries during violent clashes on Saturday afternoon with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Mughayyir village northeast of Ramallah in the West Bank.
Medical sources said that the clashed broke out after a group of Jewish settlers tried to storm the village from its northern side.
They added that Israeli soldiers intervened to protect the settlers and intensively fired live and rubber bullets at angry local young men which caused many of them to suffer different injuries.
They also affirmed that the settlers assaulted and brutalized al-Mughayyir villagers under military protection.
A Red Crescent source said that at least 20 citizens were wounded by live ammunition during the ongoing skirmishes with the IOF in the village.
