Arrests home break-ins reported in abduction sweep by Israel army

A number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Monday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.

The list of arrestees includes lawyer Aman Jamal Mansour the wife of prisoner Amir Ehstiyeh. She was arrested shortly after Israeli soldiers broke into her family home in Zawata west of Nablus and seized her husband’s car. She was released sometime later.

The IOF also kidnapped the brother of two lain Palestinians along with a number of Palestinian civilians from Nablus Salfit and Qalqilya.

At the same time nine Palestinians were kidnapped by the IOF from the central occupied West Bank village of al-Mugheir east of Ramallah.

The campaign culminated in the abduction of three Palestinians from Bethlehem’s southern town of Beit Fajjar and three others from al-Khalil province in the southern occupied West Bank.

A number of Palestinian young men were meanwhile kidnapped by the Israeli military from Jerusalem’s town of Silwan.

A number of Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Wednesday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Israeli military claimed responsibility for the abduction of ten Palestinians overnight over allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities.

The occupation forces seized thousands of shekels of Palestinian money after it wreaked havoc on civilian homes in Ramallah Bethlehem and al-Khalil.

According to local sources Palestinian children Omar Zayed and Mohamed Hamad were kidnapped by the IOF from their family homes in Qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem before they were dragged to an unknown location.

Four Palestinians were also kidnapped by the Israeli military from Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

At the same time Israeli soldiers seized dozens of Palestinian vehicles in Ramallah province and rummaged into civilian homes in Qalqilya’s eastern town of Azzoun.

Meanwhile two Palestinian young men were wounded in their feet by Israeli bullet fire in Jenin’s southern town of Anza following clashes with Israeli patrols. One of them was rushed to the Jenin public hospital for treatment.

Other Palestinians including pop singer Mohamed Abu Haija were kidnapped at military checkpoints set up in and around Jenin and Bethlehem.

The IOF further wreaked havoc on the family home of prisoner Bassam al-Saadi days after they kidnapped his son.

At least three ex-prisoners from Jenin were kidnapped by the IOF at the Container checkpoint set up southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
